On Wednesday 11th October, Year 3 had a wonderful visit to Paignton Zoo. We saw some amazing animals from the tropical biome, including a toucan, giraffes, zebras and lions. We also saw some animals from the temperate biome, including a takin, a kangaroo (in the distance) and flamingos. We saw a huge python skin which had been confiscated by customs many years ago, and a cheetah skull model (made from plastic).

It was great to be able to observe and get so close to so many different animals.
